Thunder Bay Hurray!

We made it from Winnipeg today, a beautiful drive after two visits with friends in the 'peg.  Our trip to Kilally and Melville on Thursday was fun.  Diane and Mitch gave us good advice about avoiding damaged highways.  They toured us through their house and garden, in the blazing sun! and we saw the Day Care Centre too.

So tomorrow it's over the top of Lake Superior, and on the Toronto.

June 21 in North Battleford, Sask.

Here we are on the magnificent prairie, overlooking the North Saskatchewan River, wishing we were pirates.  The ground is sopping wet, yet we've had sunshine every day - how lucky is that?!  Our visit with Don and his family in Wetaskiwin was warm and productive:  Don helped us download pictures into the laptop.

The next challenge will be to add pictures to these blogs.  Meanwhile, it's time for Scrabble!

We're going drive-about again, and I'd like friends and family to be able to know what we're experiencing across this great country.  So check in with us from time to time!  This is a learning opportunity, too.  We might even learn how to add pictures!
